This five-story residential building in Zafar, Tehran combines a refined urban presence with a modern architectural language. The façade is characterized by a crisp rhythm of vertical fins and tall, framed openings, creating a strong sense of structure and elegance. Bright white cladding and clean lines are balanced by darker accents and deep window recesses, enhancing both privacy and visual depth.
Design Process
The design process for this five-story residential building in Zafar, Tehran, began with a clear vision: to create a modern and distinctive urban landmark that harmonizes with its context while offering elevated living experiences. The architects carefully studied the site and surrounding neighborhood, prioritizing natural light, privacy, and integration of landscaping in the overall concept. Through a series of collaborative workshops and iterative sketches, the design evolved to emphasize strong vertical lines, spacious balconies, and layered façade treatments.
Material selection was guided by both aesthetics and durability, resulting in a crisp white cladding paired with bold dark features and select red accents to highlight key architectural zones. Special attention was paid to the entrance and communal areas, ensuring accessibility and a welcoming transition from street to home. Throughout the process, green elements were thoughtfully integrated into balconies and roof terraces to enhance comfort and foster a connection with nature. The project reflects a balance between contemporary style and practical requirements, achieved through teamwork, careful detailing, and a commitment to quality.
