Mirdamad Exchange

Tehran-2025-Commercial

Atavita Commercial Building
A Fusion of Luxury, Transparency, and Global Connectivity
Located in the heart of Tehran’s Mirdamad business district, this premium currency exchange office is designed to redefine the traditional financial service environment. The interior architecture prioritizes a sense of “prestige and trust,” utilizing a minimalist yet high-end aesthetic that reflects the brand’s international reach and professional integrity.

Design Process

The design process for this project was centered on transforming a high-security financial space into a “Transparent Luxury Boutique.”
Strategic Brand Alignment:
The process began by identifying the core values of the business: Trust, Speed, and Global Reach. The Mirdamad location demanded a design that caters to a high-profile clientele, leading to the selection of a “Modern-Luxury” design language.
Spatial Flow and Security Zoning:
A critical phase involved balancing open transparency with operational security. The floor plan was optimized to create a clear path from the entrance to the lounge, and then to the semi-private transaction zones, ensuring a seamless flow for both staff and clients.
Material and Texture Curation:
The design team experimented with various stone and fabric samples to achieve a “tonal” palette. The goal was to pair the cold, hard surface of the marble with warm, soft-touch partitions and upholstery to create a balanced sensory experience.
Custom Furniture and Partition Engineering:
The transaction counter and the vertical taupe panels were custom-designed for this project. The panels were engineered with rounded edges to soften the rectilinear nature of the room, while the marble counter was detailed to hide all technical equipment, maintaining a clean, “cord-free” appearance.
Branding Integration:
Rather than using loud logos, the design team focused on “Environmental Branding.” The world map and the integrated typography were treated as architectural installations, making the brand identity part of the room’s structural DNA.
Lighting and Reflection Management:
Given the extensive use of polished marble and glass, the lighting was meticulously calculated to avoid glare on transaction screens while highlighting the natural textures of the stone.
